It is here!!  The end of October!!  Days have gotten shorter, it is a bit cooler and hopefully your thoughts are beginning to turn to holidays, family and friends!!  If you don't happen to have a lot of one...this is the place to find plenty of the other!  Check the calendar often and get involved!!

If you are a resident of The Villas at Hampton Lakes then you certainly have noticed the community is buzzing with newcomers!! Three of our newly completed tri-plexes have just been made available for occupancy and they are now all taken!! If you are out walking and see a new face take a moment to introduce yourself!! We had three move-ins in one day!!  The new faces are exciting and we want to welcome them all!!  The Villas have long been totted as "the best kept secret on the NW side" but I believe some might just say...."the secrets OUT!!"

Sharron Dillon shot this picture on move-in day for Joanne Stein!!  Sharron caught Mary stopping by to welcome her and say hello!!!

For those residents who may not be aware, if you refer a friend to The Villas at Hampton Lakes and it results in them signing a lease with us and moving in, you can be the lucky recipient of a Bonus!!  Just like Tina Baldwin pictured here, when Sharon Dillon got the pleasure of surprising her for her referral!!

We have some very special and sometimes hidden treasures here at The Villas also.  I have met a number of extremely talented artists and crafters among you as I have had the pleasure of being in your homes.  Hopefully in the future Sharron Dillon is going to catch you and shed a little light on the tremendous talent hiding behind a variety of different mediums!!  Anyone who knows Vera Koehn knows she is a delightful and kind woman.  Vera and her husband Bud have been a part of the Villas for the last several years and have done a lot to keep the grounds looking beautiful, her porch looking bright and each of us smiling!!  Did you know that she was a gifted artist? She paints and draws and has won ribbons and awards for her work!!  The picture below which Sharron was able to take, shows some of Veras amazing talent!! (Behind her on the wall is a painting she also did!) What a talented and beautiful lady Vera is!!

On to less entertaining information...the maintenance issues coming up for Fall are primarily the sprinkler systems and fountain, the regular service on the furnace and the filter change, and a reminder on the snow removal policy and ice melt.

We will start winterizing sprinkler systems and making sure furnaces are all in good working order. When those calls come in to allow us to get a technician into your home or business, please keep in mind these items perform best when they are in the very best possible shape, and allow us to have necessary and timely access if at all possible.  The result is lower energy bills and more efficient performance for you, and less emergency calls later for us.

I will get details of the snow removal policy around to everyone in the next few weeks.
