I am going to spare everyone my singing today, but if I were singing these last few days it would most certainly be "Singing in the Rain". We seem to be getting a lot, and the green Spring can certainly be seen or felt by everyone around us!! (my allergies are grateful the rain has washed down some of the excess pollen flying around)

This Weds. May 20, 2015 at 10 AM our calendar/event planning team will be hard at work coming up with places to go, things to do and ways we can enjoy each others company.  If this interests you please join them in the clubhouse for that planning session. They will be mapping out the month of June activities on that day.

For those of you who planned to join the Saturday Night out crowd and got rained out, GOOD NEWS, it has been rescheduled for June 20th. The time is still 4:20PM and you will still want to RSVP with Sharron Dillon at 316-303-7010 to make sure you can all be seated together. We will be planning to go to Cheddars on that date, so if you were looking forward to it... you can do so again!!

Be sure to reach out to your neighbors and say hello!!  Invite someone new along to an activity with you!! Lets make the Villas the kind of place where neighbors know each other, and people are not afraid to stop and help.

The meals planned are for all residents, their friends and their family by invitation.

Saturday Night Dinner Out leaves the clubhouse at 4:20 PM.

The luncheons and breakfast scheduled, leave the clubhouse 30 minutes in advance of the posted time to allow for travel.

Ride sharing is always welcomed and encouraged!!

For the Villas community potluck the RSVP is to allow us to know how many tables and chairs to set up, and the sign up is in the clubhouse.

The swimmers walk over to the Holiday Inn Express from the Villas, weather permitting. They do not change clothes at the hotel.

Please bring a bible with you for the bible study.

Hand & Foot is a card game played in the clubhouse, it allows for lots of socializing while the game is being played.

It definitely looks like the Villas at Hampton Lakes gang can "get noticed" when they are out on the town!!  

20 friends and neighbors took part in the evening and had dinner at Stroud's! Sharron said they seated them in a back corner area. (I am wondering if that was to control the rowdies..but I am not sure they will ever tell!!)

No one complained, a good time was enjoyed and I know they are already planning to go to Cheddars next month!! Make your reservation with Sharron Dillon to go along!!
